Chicken Wings in Spicy Sauce

1 lb chicken wings
1 to 2 tablespoons oil  
Spicy Sauce Ingredients:
1 chopped onion 1/2 cup wine vinegar
1 small diced green pepper 4 tablespoons chopped celery
1 can (15 oz) tomatoes, chopped 1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon brown sugar 3 tablespoons fruit chutney
1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper 1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon prepared mustard 2 tablespoons dry sherry
2 tablespoons Worcester sauce  
 

Brown the wings and arrange in an oven-proof dish. In a saucepan, place the sauce ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour sauce over wings and bake covered at 320 deg. F for 1 hour. If sauce is too thin, remove the cover for the last 15 minutes.
