Chicken Wings in Spicy Sauce
| 1 lb chicken wings |
|
| 1 to 2 tablespoons oil |
|
| Spicy Sauce Ingredients: |
| 1 chopped onion |
1/2 cup wine vinegar |
| 1 small diced green pepper |
4 tablespoons chopped celery |
| 1 can (15 oz) tomatoes, chopped |
1 clove garlic |
| 1 tablespoon brown sugar |
3 tablespoons fruit chutney |
| 1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons tomato sauce |
| 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper |
1 bay leaf |
| 1 tablespoon prepared mustard |
2 tablespoons dry sherry |
| 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce |

Brown the wings and arrange in an oven-proof dish. In a saucepan, place
the sauce ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour sauce over wings and
bake covered at 320 deg. F for 1 hour. If sauce is too thin, remove the
cover for the last 15 minutes.
